Student Leadership

Student Council is a group of 5th and 6th grade students who show leadership at Rumsey Station. Students support the community by running several fundraising events during the school year. They run drives to collect canned food, toiletries, and clothing for families in need. They also plan school spirit activities throughout the year including Red Ribbon Week and Penny Wars.

Safety Patrol is a duty based activity for 5th and 6th graders. This activity allows students to work as crossing guards around the school. Students will work with their class, as each day of the week is assigned to a different classroom. Students that wish to do safety patrol can either fill out the google form sent in the newsletter or have their parents email/ write a note to Mr. Pudenz.

PBiS Troupe is a group of 5th and 6th graders that model the PBIS expectations throughout Rumsey Station. Students assist in delivering PBIS rewards to classrooms. They run the school store, every day 4! You might even hear their voices over the intercom every morning to deliver the morning announcements. Troupe members perform at school assemblies to remind all students of our expectations.
